  • Defensive Shooting Fundamentals – Defensive shooting versus Marksmanship, Grip, Shooting Platform, Aligning the Muzzle to Target, Point Shooting, Unsighted/Sighted Fire, Flash Sight Picture, Trigger Control
  • The Legal Use of Force – Defining Force, Legal Use of Force, Deadly Force, Where Reasonable Force ends and Deadly Force Begins, Force Scenarios, What Prosecutors Want to Know, Defending Home and Property

PACKING LIST:

  • Pistol Permit
  • Reliable EDC (every day carry) concealable handgun (.380/.38 up to .45ACP) unloaded and cased upon arrival
  • Quality on body, strong side, concealable holster (NONE OF THESE TYPE HOLSTERS: Serpa, ankle, bra, purse, cross draw, pocket, or shoulder)
  • Two to three magazines
  • Magazine pouch or pockets to store mags
  • At least 100 rounds of target ammunition
  • At least 20 rounds of defensive ammunition
  • Gun cleaning kit
  • Hearing protection
  • Eye protection
  • Cover garment to conceal handgun
  • Pen and paper for taking notes
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Sun block
  • Mosquito repellent
  • Base ball cap/hat with brim
  • Weather and range appropriate clothing (no shorts or open toed shoes)
