You asked for it and we delivered! We have listed below, many new courses for beginners and pros alike! Keep giving us feedback letting us know what new courses you want us to offer. This month we would like to know what type of permit you were issued (full carry/no restrictions or a sportsman restriction), your county, and the issuing judge.

If you have taken our four-hour NY Handgun Safety Course in the past, or will be taking it before May 5th, and want to take the second four-hour live-fire portion in order to obtain the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course Certificate, Thursday May 5th from 5-9pm is your last opportunity! The NRA has moved to a blended learning format for the Basic Pistol Course. After May 15th you will need to take the online phase 1 course before being able to take the live-fire phase 2 portion even if you have taken our four-hour NY course in the past. We are now offering the New York State Handgun Safety Course (for those looking to get their NY Pistol Permit) at Herb Philipson's in New Hartford so those that live in the Herkimer, Madison, and Oneida Counties don't need to travel as far for our courses.
