FREE NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Certification
PS&Ed was founded on providing Public Safety and Education to the public in an effort to make our communities safer. In the past we have offered a FREE* NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Course to the Syracuse Pistol Club, our home club. We are now offering this course for free* to all gun clubs and ranges that are looking to have their people trained as RSO’s in an effort to keep their patrons safe. This is a $70 per person savings! The savings and piece of mind that comes from having your range staff nationally certified as an NRA RSO is priceless. Not to mention, some insurance companies will require this and/or provide a discount for having trained RSO’s on staff. More info about the RSO Course can be found here.
Organizations looking to take advantage of this offer should Contact Us providing their name, address, and how many they would like trained. We will then reply with available dates. Once a date is agreed upon we will list that date on this page for your staff to start the registration process. Feel free to contact us with any questions. TERMS:
- *COSTS: The $30 cost for course materials and shipping is not covered in this offer and must be paid in full, either by the student or club/range, one week prior to course start date. If the location is not local, to the Syracuse, NY area, the instructor’s travel expenses may need to be shared by the students or covered by organization.
- LOCATION: To maximize our time and efforts, we may consolidate the training for multiple organizations at one location centrally-located to all of those interested in the training.
- DATES: Being that weekends are our prime teaching time, we will offer this course on a weekday or split over two weeknights.
- DECLINE: PS&Ed reserves the right to decline training for any reason that it sees fit.
